Frank Van Overmeiren, President FP&C Consultants, Inc.

Mr. Van Overmeiren has a Bachelor of Science degree in fire protection and safety engineering. He has practiced fire protection engineering for over 25 years as a consultant. He is a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers and the National Fire Protection Association.

Mr. Van Overmeiren’s experience includesa building and fire code consulting, fire and life safety surveys-including The Joint Commission Statement of Commission Surveys; fire sprinkler and fire alarm system design and construction inspections, and testing for various fire protection and life safety systems.

Along with his membership in the National Fire Protection Association, Mr. Van Overmeiren has served for over 25 years as a member of the NFPA 72, Signaling Systems, Technical Committee on Testing and Maintenance of Signaling Systems and as an alternate on the Protective Premises Technical Committee and the Technical Correlating Committee on Signaling Systems. Mr. Van Overmeiren also serves as a member of NFPA 99, Healthcare Facilities, and Technical Committee on Fundamentals, which includes the new chapter of fire protection features.
